Written requires live capture to ensure authenticity. This is what makes your writing provably human—every page is captured in the moment, proving it's genuinely your handwritten work.
Our OCR (optical character recognition) technology automatically reads your handwriting and converts it to digital text. Both the original image and extracted text are displayed with your posts.
The Free plan includes 5 projects and 50 page captures per month. Pro ($99/year) offers unlimited projects, unlimited captures, priority OCR processing, version history, and export options.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's app store settings. On iOS, go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > Written.
You control the visibility of your work. You can keep pieces private, share them only with followers, or make them public. We never share your content with third parties without your consent.
